What began as an exercise in tourism promotion is now attended by a large number of local and international participants. In its 11th year, the Festival, organised by the Secretariat of Borneo Jazz Festival and Sarawak Tourism Board, will be held at the Park City Everly Hotel. Miri is also the gateway to Lambir Hills, Niah National Park and Mir-Sibuti Coral Reefs National Park and is a popular diving centre.
