Madhya Pradesh has been crowned the "Best Tourism State of the Year" at the Travel and Tourism Conclave and Awards held in New Delhi. Known as the "Heart of India," this recognition highlights the state’s incredible efforts in promoting tourism through its rich history, cultural heritage, and natural beauty.

From the UNESCO-listed Khajuraho Temples to the revered Mahakal Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh offers a wide range of attractions for travelers. The award reflects the state's ongoing dedication to becoming a top destination for both domestic and international tourists.

Sheo Shekhar Shukla, senior secretary for tourism and managing director of the MP Tourism Board, shared that the award would inspire the state to continue enhancing the tourism experience. Madhya Pradesh’s tourism department has also adopted creative strategies to market its unique attractions, such as participating in global travel fairs and producing multilingual promotional materials.
