Madhya Pradesh Ride the Tiger Express

The semi-luxurious train journeys to the tigerland of Madhya Pradesh

IRCTC (irctc.co.in) has launched a semi-luxury tourist train called the Tiger Express that will cover the twp key tiger reserves of Madhya Pradesh, Kanha and Bandhavgarh. The train departs from Safdurjung station in New Delhi and the 5N/6D itinerary includes trips to the two national parks and the Dhuandhar Falls at Bhedaghat near Jabalpur. The air-conditioned train includes a dining car and beginning from October, expect regular monthly departures. The tariff for the inaugural run starts from Rs 38,500 per head which includes accommodation, food, inter-city transfers and travel insurance.
