Taj Safaris (tajsafaris.com) have recently launched specially crafted tours inspired by The Jungle Book at its lodges in Banjaar Tola (Kanha National Park) and Bahgvan (Pench National Park) called the Mowgli Trails. Fans will be able to experience the real magic of the jungles that inspired Rudyard Kipling with guided drives through deep forests, visits to the local tribal villages and specially-curated menus inspired by local and Anglo-Indian flavours. Evenings will involve star-gazing and jungle-showers, as well as Jungle Book trivia sessions. The Mowgli Trails packages can be booked with an extra payment of a Rs1,500-per-night supplement to regular package prices. The offer includes accommodation, all meals, soft beverages, laundry, park fees and one safari game drive per day.
