Macao Hush Full Music

This beach-side music concert in Macao has artists from all over Asia

Around 25 groups of singers and bands from Macao and other Asian regions will be presenting different kinds of music such as rock, metal, pop, and electronic music, and more on 30 April-1 May at Hac Sa Beach. Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) in cooperation with the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau and the Marine and Water Bureau, it is free for all. Expected on this scene are Hanjin Tan, Ellen Loo, Supper Moment, KINOCO HOTEL, Hello Nico, Mary See the Future, Streetguns, Wild Children, Luktomo, Break the Rules as well as local singers and bands, including Jun Kung, Forget the G, WhyOceans, Wat De Funk, Scamper, Crossline, Achun, Bombeiros, Catalyser, De-Aqua, Frontline Caste, Hou Summer, Sonia Ka Ian Lao VJ Miguel, 80 & Tal and Zenith. Along with this, the beach will come alive with a market selling local stuff, light beverages and food.

There will also be a music video contestHUSH 300 Seconds. Participants need to submit application forms with a video of their own music or vocal performance and are eligible to win multiple prizes. Registration is open till 26 April. Visit www.icm.gov.mo/hush.

IC is also organising the Uncle Ma Ukulele Classroom on 1 May with Uncle Ma, a Taiwanese guitar tutor and internet celebrity. Uncle Ma will teach the basic skills of playing ukulele in Mandarin. Registration can be done through www.icm.gov.mo/eform/event.
