Kolkata Himalayan Diaries

Sujoy Das, anavid trekker,has been photographing in the Himalaya for more than thirty years. He also organises and leads treks and photo workshops as a part of South Col Expeditions.In his photographs, naturally, he has been able to capture some of the most beautiful and seldom-seen featuresof the dynamic mountain chain.

If you happen to be in Kolkata, you could take a sneak-peek at some of his small-format photographs and drawings which are from his and his artist wife Paula Sengupta's travels in the Himalaya. The exhibition titled Himalayan Diariesopens on July 29 from 6-9pm at The Z's Precinct and will be on display from July 31 to September 2 from 11am to 7pm (Sundays closed) at the gallery.
