Flying between Kolkata and Goa takes the greater part of a day because all airlines, including Indigo, fly with a stopover at Mumbai, Bengaluru, etc. Starting March 17, Indigo will operate a direct flight between Kolkata and Goa, which will bring down the travel time to three hours. A flight booking check on the website showed that it will depart from Kolkata at 11.40 am and reach Goa's Dabolim airport at 2.30 pm. The flight will return the same day, leaving Dabolim at 2.55pm and reaching Kolkata at 5.55pm.
