Kochi-Muziris Biennale

Bringing together the art that maps our world via history, geography, cosmology, time, space, dreams and myths in Kochi from December 12

The Kochi-Muziris Biennale is back. This year&rsquos Biennale, Whorled Explorations, is conceived as a temporary observation deck hoist&shyed in Kochi, which draws upon the city&rsquos history as a maritime gateway to bring together art that maps our world via history, geography, cosmology, time, space, dreams and myths. Apart from showcasing contemporary art, K-MB will also host a series of seminars, talks, debates and discussions on art. Artists&rsquo Cinema is their 100-day film festival of the most interesting video art from around the world. The Students&rsquo and Children&rsquos Biennale will run at the same time. Keli Ramachandran curates performances on the art forms of Kerala, besides which there is contemporary theatre, movement arts, and music (only donations).
