Here's some good news for casual travellers to the UAE as well as for people travelling there for work. IndiGo Airlines (goindigo.com) has announced that from March 20 this year, the airlines will be operating direct, daily flights from Kerala to Sharjah. There will be two flights to Sharjah everyday, one from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala's capital city, and the other one from Kozhikode. The Kozhikode-Sharjah flight will depart at 605am and reach Sharjah at 820pm. The return flight will be a hopping flight which will leave Sharjah at 920am and reach Kozhikode at 230pm.

The Thiruvananthapuram-Sharjah flight will depart at 1020pm and reach Sharjah at 100am. The return flight will be a hopping flight which will leave Sharjah at 200am and reach Thiruvananthapuramat 735am.
