The Andaman & Nicobar Islands, located in the Bay of Bengal, are known for their natural and historical importance. The local administration is holding the Island Tourism Festival from January 5-15, 2016, so that you can have a peek at some of the famous attractions here. Port Blair serves as the main venue of the festival but programmes are also held at other islands, such as Wandoor, Neil, Havelock, Rangat, Mayabunder, Diglipur, Hut Bay, Car Nicobar, etc. The festival includes musical and other cultural performances, exhibitions, handicraft display and sale, adventure sports, etc.
