If you have mangoes on your mind and currently living in Delhi, look no further than the two-day international mango festival to be held in Delhi Haat next month. Book you calendars for July 5-7, 2019 at the Janak Puri Dilli Haat to devour mangoes from all over India in just one place

What is summer without mangoes, right The festival first began in 1987 and every year, it is held in different locations where over 1000 varieties of the juiciest mangoes are put up on display. Put together by the Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation, this festival is for mango lovers, buyers, sellers and horticulturalists.

So, what can you expect at the event Gorgeous mangoes with beautiful names like Sikri, Himsagar, Langra, Kesar, Neelam, Malda and many more. Of the more rare species, Gula from Muzaffarnagar will also be found at the festival.

For aspiring cooks and bakers, you will get a chance to see reputed chefs in action at the event, sharing mango recipes for appetizers, main courses, desserts and more.

There will also be mango eating competitions held there. Quizzes, folk performances, folk songs and anything you can think of related to a mango, will keep you occupied at the festival.
