Ashvem Beach in north Goa will be the venue for the India Yoga Festival. To be held from January 4-8, 2016, it is the place to know about traditional yoga and various styles of exercises that have developed globally. Apart from lessons in yoga from renowned masters, there will be kirtan-singing sessions at sunset, aartis and other ritual-based programmes. There are both free and paid (registration required) programmes. This will be followed by a Bhakti Camp from January 10-15, 2016. For details, check their website.
