India is now e-visa friendly. Visitors from 43 countries will now be able to apply for visas online and enter through nine airports by following four easy steps on indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/tvoa.html. The application received will be processed at the airports and eligible applicants will receive their visas within three days of applying. The visa will allow entry into the country for 30 days from the day of approval and will be valid for 30 days for those here to sightsee, visit family, on medical trips, or on casual business trips. The Ministry of Home Affairs said that more countries would be given access to this service eventually, though in a phased manner.
