Hyderabad’s cultural landscape expanded on Sunday with the launch of the globally renowned Paradox Museum, an immersive attraction built around optical illusions and perception-defying installations.

Housed on the ground level of Pranava One in Somajiguda, a short walk from Irrum Manzil Metro Station (Exit Gate D), the attraction was formally opened by actor Nidhhi Agerwal. The launch ceremony was attended by Satish Yadav, Director – India, and Nadia Roditi, Chief Operating Officer.

What's Inside

The interactive ‘edu-tainment’ venue features more than 50 illusion-based exhibits designed to challenge visitors’ sense of reality. With outposts in cities such as Paris, London, Miami and Mumbai, the museum offers families and young visitors immersive, photo-ready experiences including reverse rooms, zero-gravity installations and Ames rooms.

Inside the Paradox Museum

Highlights include the Zero Gravity Room, Infinity Well, Paradox Tunnel and Ames Room, along with locally themed installations curated for a 60–90 minute visit. Visitors can capture striking images that make them appear upside down, suspended mid-air or flattened into 2D settings in spaces such as the Paradox Sofa and 3D Camouflage Room. Interactive sections like the Walking Kaleidoscope and Mirror Maze test balance and visual perception through shifting reflections and spatial illusions.

The Hyderabad edition also introduces installations inspired by local culture and design. Created for visitors of all ages, the museum blends science and art in an engaging, hands-on format.

The Paradox Museum Around the World

The Paradox Museum is a global chain of interactive museums where visitors can explore optical illusions and mind-bending exhibits. Each location offers more than 50 installations designed to surprise, entertain, and provide fun photo opportunities for families, friends, and social media fans.

Some of the most popular attractions include the Reverse Room, where visitors appear to hang upside down; the Ames Room, which makes people look unusually large or small; and the Zero Gravity Room, which creates the sensation of floating. Other favourites are the Paradox Sofa, which visually splits the body in two, and the Camouflage Room, which lets visitors blend into the background. A typical visit lasts 60–90 minutes, giving guests plenty of time to explore, interact with the exhibits, and take memorable photos. The combination of fun, art, and hands-on learning has made the Paradox Museum a favourite stop for families, tourists, and anyone looking for a unique experience.
