Hotel Prices In Mumbai Soar Before Anant Ambani's Wedding On July 12

Major hotel properties in the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), where the wedding will be held, are fully booked, according to travel and hotel websites

The pre-wedding events of Anant Ambani, son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, and his fiancée Radhika Merchant have significantly impacted hotel occupancy and prices in Mumbai. Major hotel properties in the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), where the wedding will be held, are fully booked, according to travel and hotel websites. One hotel is offering rooms at ₹91,350 per night on July 14, compared to the usual ₹13,000 per night.

The wedding is set for July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC, Mumbai. Although there is no official confirmation on guest accommodations, hotel rates in BKC and nearby areas have surged.

International pop star Justin Bieber performed on July 5 for an audience of prominent figures from the entertainment and sports industries. More events are planned leading up to the wedding, which will see numerous celebrities and dignitaries in attendance from July 12 to July 14.

Post-wedding celebrations include Shubh Aashirwad on July 13, where guests will receive blessings, and Mangal Utsav, the wedding reception, on July 14, according to media reports.

The Mumbai Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory for BKC during the wedding period. Several roads leading to the Jio World Convention Centre will have restricted access between 1 pm and midnight from July 12 to 15.
