The Hong Kong Tourism Board has launched a Standardised Hygiene Protocol as it prepares to reopen its tourism sector which is an important contributor to the country&rsquos economy. A common set of guidelines are being implemented which will be strictly adhered to by visiting tourists. All tourism attractions and public places like shopping malls and food joints enlisted to this protocol will be subjected to random checks.
The businesses which qualify the pre-requisite standards on assessment will be allowed to display a logo stating that their safety standards satisfy the protocol. Businesses strive to pass these standards as the logo assumes utmost importance for the tourists who will view the logo outside an outlet as an added sense of safety.
