How Much Do You Know Indian Heritage and Culture

If the past year was all about virtual visits and knowledge-gathering, here is a chance to test it through an olympiad

Get ready to test your knowledge of Indian culture and heritage at an Olympiad to be hosted online by a Kerala-based organisation named Cultre.

To be launched on April 18, International Day for Monuments and Sites (also known as World Heritage Day), it will quiz participants on arts, crafts, monuments, natural heritage, events, etc. pertaining to India&rsquos heritage and culture.

According to the organisers, the Heritage Olympiad has been conceived with an aim to integrate heritage education in schools and make it more accessible to a younger audience.

Participants have to register online on the official website (https://www.heritageolympiad.com/) and pay to participate. The competition is open to all and will be conducted in groups. The test will be conducted in English. Although the test will be held online, the organisers have said that it cannot be taken on mobile phones.

According to the organisers, Cultre works to provide online and offline solutions to improve access to heritage information and education through mobile apps, digital platforms, curated virtual and physical experiences.
