The Aviation Ministry of Assam is set to conquer a milestone by providing international flight service under UDAN and Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati is likely to be the first airport under the plan. UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik) was introduced in order to provide cheap domestic flight services to the citizens and to uplift the standard of air transportation of the country. The Aviation Ministry of Assam has shared their interest in providing low priced flight services to Dhaka, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Kathmandu and Bangkok.
