Giant kites to colour the Kelantan sky

Malaysia's five-day International Kite Festival starts on May 25

If you are a kite-flying enthusiast, pay a visit to the Kelantan International Wau Festival, to be held in Tumpat town in Kelantan, Malaysia, from May 25-30, 2015. Local and international participants will be flying the giant kites (called wau) of various shapes. This is a chance to see the traditonal moon kites of Kelantan that used to be flown by men only. There will also be a food festival, cultural events, including 'dikir barat' (a Malay style group singing), and souvenir shops.
