The trains will leave from Madurai offering five day tours to different destinations. The North Kerala Special train will take you to the beautiful coastline of Kozhikode and introduce you to the giant mountains of Wayanad. Or you can visit the booming city of Kochi and ride the iconic houseboat of Alapuzha if you take the South Kerala Special train. The Mookambika Special is the perfect option for some soul searching journeys taking you through some gorgeous South Indian temples covering Salem, Palakkad, Kannur, Murudeswar and Mookambika. These three trains are scheduled to leave on 22nd January. The fourth special train, the Ratha Sapthami Special, will depart from Madurai on 9th February following a temple trail through the states of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh covering Erode, Salem, Katpadi, Dwaraka Tirumala, Srikurmam and Simhachalam. The packages would cost between INR 5800 and INR 6900 depending on the tour you choose. The fare includes transportation, food and accommodation charges.
