The Chitrakote Waterfalls of Chhattisgarh fall into the Indravati River of Bastar district. At 30 m high and 300 m wide, it is considered the “Niagara Falls of India” and is the state’s largest waterfall. The dense forest of the Eastern Ghats and the Vindhya ranges which surrounds the picturesque waterfalls further enhances its beauty.
