Etihad Airways, UAE's national airline, is focussing heavily on India. First came its partnership with Jet Airways in 2013. Now, its tour-operating arm, Etihad Holidays, has launched in India. It teams up with TUI India, one of the countrys most prominent travel companies. Travellers can choose from a variety of holiday packages, including to destinations across the world, as a result of this arrangement. The association should prove to be a convenient set-up for both its customers as well as the myriad travel agencies TUI is associated with. A unique package is the Abu Dhabi Stopover Programme which, as the name suggests, allows for a person stopping over in the city to avail of heavily discounted accommodation. So, the next time youre headed far and beyond but have the time and inclination for a little break, you know where to stop. See etihad.com
