E-tickets for select Indian archaeological sites

Entry tickets to the Taj Mahal in Agra and Humayun's Tomb in Delhi can now be booked online

No need to stand in long queues anymore for your tickets to heritage sites in India. Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC)&nbsphave launched an e-ticketing website that will enable visitors to book their tickets online without any hassles. The month-long pilot project is offering e-ticketing for the Taj Mahal and the Humayun's Tomb this will be extended to inlcude the Qutub Minar and the Red Fort. Gradually, the service will be extended to cover heritage monuments across the country. The fee for online tickets will be same as offline tickets. The entry fee to the Taj Mahal in Agra is Rs 20 for Indians, Rs 510 for other SAARC countries' citizens and Rs 750 for other foreign visitors. Entry to Humayun's Tomb in Delhi is Rs 10 for Indians and SAARC citizens and Rs 250 for other foreigners. Children below 15 years of age can enter for free.
