Dudhwa National Park All Set To Reopen On November 15

Dudhwa National Park is all set to reopen on November 15 and welcome wildlife enthusiasts across India. One of the significant developments is the new helicopter service that will connect Lucknow to Dudhwa, Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary, and Chuka Tiger Reserve, reducing the journey time to under half an hour.

The park has also reduced its service fees to a mere INR 150 per person from the earlier INR 300 and offers free admission to school students and children under 5. Moreover, the park invites investors to set up hotels within a one-kilometre radius to provide convenient lodging options for tourists. Dudhwa Tiger Reserve secured the fourth position among the country's tiger reserves, showcasing an 18.49 per cent increase in the tiger population in Uttar Pradesh.

Officials have confirmed that the nearest helipad to Dudhwa is about 7 kilometres away, and the helicopter service will operate under the guidance of the civil aviation department. The service will begin at an affordable price, aiming to improve tourist accessibility. The park's initiatives, such as reduced tour costs, free admission for students, and inviting hotel investments, are all aimed at enhancing the visitor experience and promoting the natural wonders of the park.

Dudhwa National Park, which is located in the Lakhimpur-Kheri district and forms part of the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve, is home to a variety of endangered species and diverse wildlife, such as swamp deer, leopards, tigers, black bucks, elephants, jackals, and antelopes, as well as various species of birds. The surrounding area also offers several noteworthy attractions, including temples, making it a comprehensive destination for nature and cultural enthusiasts.
