Do You Know About India's Longest Glass bridge In Vagamon, Kerala?

Tourists in Kerala can now walk on India's longest cantilever glass bridge, located in the scenic hill station of Idukki district. Inaugurated on September 6, the bridge is a collaboration between the Idukki District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC) and Bharat Mata Ventures Private Limited.

Sitting atop the Wagamon hills at 3,500 ft above sea level, spanning a length of 40 meters (120 ft), the bridge offers stunning views of distant places like Mundakayam, Kuttikkal, and Kokkayar.

How Many People Can Be Accommodated?

Up to 15 people can walk on it for about 10 minutes, enjoying the scenic vistas of Mundakayam, Koottikkal, and Kokkayar. This 120-foot-long bridge, constructed in Vagamon's Adventure Park, offers a unique experience. You can take part in several thrilling activities offered here, including sky swinging, sky cycling, sky rolling, rocker ejection, free falling, a colossal swing, and a zipline. It's made with high-quality glass from Germany and strengthened with 35 tonnes of steel.

The massive rock near the dargah (holy shrine) is believed to be where Baba used to prepare his paan (betel leaf preparation).
