Delhi Pope of Freedom Exhibition at St Stephens College

A photo exhibition dedicated to Pope John Paul II

The Polish Institute New Delhi is hosting an exhibition about Pope The Pope of Freedom at the St Stephens College, University of Delhi from April 27- May 3. The exhibition comprises pictures of Pope John Paul II in the most noteworthy moments of his long pontificate and fragments of his speeches on freedom and other social issues given at the European Parliament, the United Nations General Assembly and in the Polish Parliament and other places. The exhibition will be complemented by a lecture by Polish historian Dr Joanna Pyat on the opening day and screenings of two documentary films on Pope John Paul II. The exhibition has been organised by the Centre of Thought of John Paul II and the European Solidarity Centre. Entry is free.
