Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary Reopens After a Year

A revamped Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary has reopened after the pandemic

After a year&rsquos break Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary is reopening with added facilities to attract more tourists.

Due to the pandemic they will allow less number of bookings at the mud houses as well as at the forest guest house. Social distancing and masks will be mandatory throughout the stay. 

Dalma has seen a rise in tourists during the winter months, hence to improve the experience the officials are also planning to set up an information kiosk in the front gate at Makulakocha.&nbspVisitors can buy entry tickets as well as new detailed brochures of the flora and fauna here. 

Apart from the kiosk, Dalma wildlife sanctuary officials are also planning to introduce many more activities such as trekking and cycling. The officials have identified three cycling routes. They have also planned bamboo huts and snacks counters.
