After 11 long months, Mumbai's Grade 1 heritage museum Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sanghralaya will reopen its doors to visitors. The galleries will be accessible in various phases from February 16, by keeping all safety measures in place.
For starters, the Natural History galleries consisting of species such as the striped hyena, the black francolin, and Indian chameleons will be among the first to open. As will the Karl J. Khandalavala Gallery of Indian Artefacts where Pahari and Rajasthani miniature paintings from the 18th century have been displayed.
