The Bundi Festival (November 28-30, 2015) is a good opportunity to explore the Hadoti region of Rajasthan. Sitting in the middle of a gorge, Bundi will take you back in time, with life in the slow lane. You can also explore the sprawling fortress&mdashTaragarh&mdashand the Chitrashala (palace rooms covered in miniature paintings). The festival showcases the culture, folk art and music, and handicrafts of the region. Various competitions, sporting events and displays draw a large number of participants. Bundi is nearly 210 kms by road from Jaipur and about 110 kms from Sawai Madhopur. It is connected to Kota (40km away) which falls on the Delhi-Mumbai railway route.
