On regular journeys, the menu usually offers non-vegetarian food and alcohol to cater to foreign and domestic tourists. The management of Palace on Wheels has been delegated to Cube Construction Company Pvt Ltd, a private firm based in Gujarat, for the next seven years. Not many know that initially, the Palace on Wheels was created out of actual carriages and saloons of former Maharajas.
