Bihar Tourism Minister Nitish Mishra calls on businesses to invest in the state's tourism sector, offering full government support. Upcoming investment sessions and infrastructure improvements aim to attract significant investments

Bihar Tourism Minister Nitish Mishra on Friday invited the business community to invest in the state's tourism sector and promised government support. Speaking at an investment meet and Bihar Tourism Roadshow, Mishra highlighted the state's rich heritage and rapid development.

"Invest in Bihar with confidence; the government will support you fully. We are hosting investment sessions and roadshows nationwide, with the next event in Kolkata next month. Major groups like Taj, Hyatt, and Sarovar have already invested here. Join us for direct subsidies and other benefits. As someone from Mithila, I assure you of our warm hospitality," Mishra said.

Tourism Secretary Abhay Kumar Singh shared plans and policies with businesspersons, travel agents, tour operators, and hoteliers in Delhi. He detailed infrastructure improvements across all tourism circuits and policy enhancements, including subsidies and various facilities. "The positive outcomes are evident, and we are working to improve them further," Singh said.

Resident Commissioner Kundan Kumar noted that Bihar's new industrial policy has created many opportunities for investors, significantly boosting industrial investment. "Over Rs 50,000 crore worth of MoUs were signed at Bihar Business Connect 2023, increasing investments in both industrial activities and the tourism sector," he said.
