The airline's first Airbus A350-900 begins operating from India

Singapore Airlines launched its first Airbus A350-900 aircraft operating to and from India on July 1, on the Mumbai-Singapore route. The flight takes off from Mumbai at 11.45am and reaches Singapore at 7.50pm, from where it departs at 7.40am the next morning and reaches Mumbai at 10.30am (local times). A new and technologically-advanced aircraft, it is known for its lightweight carbon-fibre body, wings designed to ensure a smooth ride and exceptional fuel efficiency. Watch this space for more.
