ART SG, Southeast Asia’s global contemporary art fair, will return to Singapore from January 23 to 25, 2026, with a VIP Preview and Vernissage on January 22, at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands. The event will mark the fair’s fourth edition and will once again be held alongside S.E.A. Focus, which makes its debut at ART SG with a dedicated curatorial platform themed The Humane Agency. The presentation will foreground Southeast Asian contemporary art, positioning artists as agents of compassion within shifting social and cultural contexts.
Together, ART SG and S.E.A. Focus will bring more than 100 galleries from over 30 countries and territories to Singapore, underscoring the city’s growing role as a key meeting point for artistic exchange, innovation and new ideas.
ART SG 2026 will feature a strong showing from India, with galleries reflecting both the country’s artistic traditions and its contemporary voices. Participants include Vadehra Art Gallery, Gallery Ragini, Milaaya Art Gallery, Art Magnum, Art Positive, Ashvita’s, Nature Morte, Sakshi Gallery, Gallerie Nvya and LATITUDE 28. Their presentations will span history, culture and current social themes across a wide range of media.
A number of leading international galleries will return to ART SG in 2026, presenting highlights from their programmes. These include White Cube, Thaddaeus Ropac, neugerriemschneider, Galerie Gisela Capitain, Annely Juda Fine Art, Goodman Gallery, and Ota Fine Arts, with locations across Europe, Asia, Africa and the United States.
S.E.A. Focus 2026 will be curated by John Z.W. Tung, with artistic consultation from Emi Eu, Executive Director of STPI Creative Workshop and Gallery. The platform will showcase galleries from across Southeast Asia, including Richard Koh Fine Art, Silverlens, The Drawing Room, ISA Art Gallery, ShanghART Gallery, STPI, ara contemporary, Mr. Lim’s Shop of Visual Treasures, Gallery VER, Artinformal and Gajah Gallery.
One of the major new highlights is the TVS Initiative for Indian and South Asian Contemporary Art at ART SG. The first-of-its-kind cultural sponsorship will put the spotlight on contemporary practices from India and South Asia, strengthening the fair’s ties with the region.
ART SG will also roll out a dedicated Performance Art sector, developed with the Rockbund Art Museum (RAM), Shanghai. As part of the collaboration, RAM will present Wan Hai Hotel: Singapore Strait (“Circumnavigating the Sea”), turning the lobby of a restored heritage building on Robertson Quay into an immersive exhibition space.
The Institutum will debut a new partnership with Hampi Art Labs, the residency programme based in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hampi in India, showcasing ecologically focused works by Robert Zhao and Atul Bhalla.
ART SG and UBS will also introduce the ART SG FUTURES Prize presented by UBS, awarded to an outstanding emerging artist in the FUTURES sector, underlining the fair’s ongoing support for new talent.
