With the constant increase of COVID cases in Mumbai, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport has decided to consolidate all flights and operate them.from Terminal 2.

The airport had reopened its domestic passenger terminal T-1 for regular flight operations on March 10, after nearly a year.

These flights will now be operating from T2 instead of T1.

Beginning April 21, domestic flights operating from T2 will include Indigo, GoAir, Air Asia, Star Air, and TruJet.

IndiGo had operated most of its flights from Terminal 2 while its base flights were being operated through Terminal 1.

CSMIA in a statement said, &ldquoIn light of the latest developments in the ongoing pandemic situation, CSMIA has decided to re-consolidate all domestic passenger flights currently operating via Terminal 1. With effect from April 21, the airport will be conducting all international as well as domestic flight operations through its Terminal 2.&rdquo

All passengers of Indigo, GoAir, Air Asia, Star Air, and TruJet have been asked to get in touch with their respective airlines for further queries.

CSMIA has two terminals T1 and T2. Terminal 1 is provided&nbspfor domestic passengers and Terminal 2 for international services alongside domestic operations of a few Indian airlines.

Post resumption of domestic commercial passenger services last year, following a nearly two-month shut down due to the pandemic, this year the flight services were operated only from T2 till March 9.
