A vintage train ride to Sariska in Rajasthan

If you&rsquore looking to visit Sariska National Park in the coming months, forget your car, and book tickets on the Steam Express. The two-carriage tourist train is hauled by a 49-year-old vintage steam engine &lsquoAkbar&rsquo. The train has been plying between Delhi and Alwar, via Rewari, since October 2014, on the second and fourth Saturdays of the months, and returning to Delhi on the following Sunday. The ticket costs Rs 12,375 per person, and includes the journey to and from Alwar, lunch on the train, siteseeing at the reserve, hotel and transportation costs.
