The city of Allahabad, now renamed as Prayagraj, is all set to welcome more than 120 million devotees to the sacred event. The Indian Railways has introduced 800 new trains making a ride to Allahabad only a quick reservation away. The trains would provide their service for the entire three months of the Kumbh facilitating the visitors with a hassle free journey. The 50 day event began on 15th January and will last till 4th March with huge number of Hindu saints making their way to the Triveni Sangam. The first day witnessed about 2 crore devotees taking the dip at the venue.
