800 New Trains Will Lead Your Way to Kumbh

Taking the holy dip at the Triveni Sangam has become convenient with 800 more trains directed towards Kumbh

The city of Allahabad, now renamed as Prayagraj, is all set to welcome more than 120 million devotees to the sacred event. The Indian Railways has introduced 800 new trains making a ride to Allahabad only a quick reservation away. The trains would provide their service for the entire three months of the Kumbh facilitating the visitors with a hassle free journey. Presenting you with a golden opportunity to witness the mega festival, learn more about the Hindu faith and see its kaledioscopic forms at the Kumbh festival. 

Stunning new trains decorated with images and scripts about Kumbh will make their soul searching journey one for the ages. About 1600 coaches are also undergoing vinyl coating in keeping with the Kumbh theme. Being one of the largest religious gatherings in the world, these trains are expected to produce comfort for the people travelling to the sacred site. The 50 day event began on 15th January and will last till 4th March with huge number of Hindu saints making their way to the Triveni Sangam. The first day witnessed about 2 crore devotees taking the dip at the venue.
