World&rsquos largest indoor waterfall

The Jewel&rsquos most notable feature is that it boasts of the world&rsquos largest indoor waterfall. Called the Rain Vortex, it stands at an impressive height of 40 metres or 131 feet. Not only does the Rain Vortex act as a symbolic attraction, the water is used for internal services, irrigation and also as a cooling source for the interior of the structure.

An indoor forest

It is a known fact that Singapore is touted as the &lsquoGarden City&rsquo and already has the iconic Gardens by the Bay. The Jewel has created a sprawling indoor forest which is a tropical four-story garden with over a 1000 trees and palms, over 100,000 shrubs imported from different countries all over the world and flowers. The canopy park

Set to open in the month of June, the Canopy Park will have a walkway with sculptures of animals, birds, and floral structures along with mirror mazes and themed gardens. Adventurous souls can try the 164-foot long bridge to be rewarded&nbspwith sparkling views of the indoor forest and the Rain Vortex. There will be suspended nets where people of all ages can bounce around and also walk on above the ground level.

Retail therapy

Boasting over 400 retail stores, Emack & Bolio&rsquos, Lavender, OYSHO and Pok&eacutemon Center Singapore are just few of the many international brands that will open their first stores alongside homegrown brands such as In Good Company, Supermama, and Tiger Street Lab.
