You can now stay at the world's first ever underwater villa in the Maldives. Boasting of a private gym, a bar, an infinity pool, and an underwater bedroom with view of the ocean, the luxury hotel has been named Muraka.
Muraka is a two-storey villa and is situated 16 feet below the Indian Ocean. The top floor of this elegant piece of luxury is above the sea level and one can hope to soak up the warm summer sun from here.
This unbelievable resort costs $50,000 USD (Rs. 36.67 lakh) per night. Furthermore, one is required to book the resort for upto a minimum of 4 days. If someone plans to opt for this particular package, then a personal chef and a boat will be given to them for their convenience. Interestingly, the villa was constructed in Singapore on land before being brought to the Maldives using a special purpose ship.
Although, Muraka isn&rsquot the first underwater concept since the underwater five-star restaurant &ldquoIthaa&rdquo happens to top that list, it still formulates a desirable location to go to. The villa is at a secluded location since it was built to not disturb the wildlife that roam the seas. However, the Muraka is connected to the rest of the resort by a jetty.
