Spring Again At Shoonya Centre

"A man walks, carries, waits, remembers, embraces. Life exists, transforms, and travels in cycles. A plant endures winter, trusting that spring will come again."

Spring Again is a poignant physical theatre solo performance by an actor-clown, created as a tribute to those moments in life when everything changes all at once. The play invites the audience into the inner world of a first-time parent-to-be, sharing a journey filled with fears, doubts, dreams, realisations, projections, and the conditioning we carry from our families. As the story unfolds, it will reveal many masks we wear and the truths they conceal.

The performance is led by Andres Fagiolino, actor, clown, researcher, and director from Montevideo, Uruguay. Co-founder of Amares Teatro and Croaking Crevasse Theatre, his work spans technical and energetic actor training, clowning, site-specific theatre, mask and trance techniques, and hospital clowning. His artistic and pedagogical contributions have travelled across Uruguay and numerous countries, including India, Japan, Brazil, Turkey, Egypt, Indonesia, and many more. The result is a production shaped by global experience and a profoundly human storytelling approach.

For ages 13 and above (under adult supervision).
