Informa Markets in India will host SATTE 2025, South Asia’s leading travel and tourism exhibition, from February 19-21 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. The event will feature over 2,000 exhibitors, participation from more than 50 countries, and 28 state tourism boards, with an expected attendance of over 40,000 visitors.

Marking its 32nd edition, SATTE continues to serve as a key platform for industry networking, business expansion, and sector innovation. Supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and international travel bodies, the event brings together key stakeholders, including airlines, hotels, resorts, and corporate travel players.

Key Themes And Developments

Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director of Informa Markets in India, highlighted the evolving trends in tourism, including experience-driven travel, sustainability, and digitalisation. He noted that government initiatives in infrastructure and connectivity, as outlined in the Union Budget 2025, are expected to enhance accessibility for domestic and international travellers.

This year’s edition will expand its reach to 402 cities across India, engaging Tier I and Tier II markets. Exhibitors include travel agencies, tour operators, online platforms, airlines, and hospitality brands.

Strategic Partnerships, Industry Highlights, And More

Saudia Tourism is the Premium Partner Country, with Malaysia, Thailand, Dubai, Sri Lanka, and Nepal among the Partner Countries. Other participants include tourism boards from Hong Kong, Egypt, Cambodia, Greece, Bhutan, and Mauritius. Uttar Pradesh is the Host State, with Jharkhand as the Focus State. Several other states, including Gujarat, Rajasthan, Odisha, Kerala, and Goa, will also participate.

The Indian Port Authority will highlight cruise tourism opportunities under the Cruise Bharat Mission, showcasing India’s potential in this growing sector.

The "Atithi" buyer-seller meet, organised in collaboration with the Service Export Promotion Council (SEPC), will host 250 international buyers, aiming to boost inbound tourism and global business partnerships.

SATTE 2025 will feature a Leadership Summit, industry awards, and networking sessions. Discussions will cover India’s MICE market growth, cruise tourism, sustainable destination management, and the role of AI in tourism. In addition, Shreya Cheema, Assistant Editor at Outlook Traveller will be moderating a special session on viral content and its impact on travel. The panel will consist of social media influencers Ajay Sood and Anindita Chatterjee.

To maintain engagement throughout the year, initiatives such as SATTE 365 Clicks, the SATTE Podcast, and SATTE Road Shows will continue.
