Heritage Aviation, a renowned helicopter service provider in India, has launched daily helicopter services on the Pithoragarh-Almora-Pithoragarh route in Uttarakhand. Both Pithoragarh and Almora are celebrated for their stunning natural landscapes, attracting offbeat travellers seeking serene, remote locations surrounded by nature. Previously, the company launched services connecting Champawat, Munsiyari, and Pithoragarh. Now, with Almora added to the route, it has become easier than ever to visit this charming hill station. The Pithoragarh-Almora-Pithoragarh route is part of the UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik) scheme, which aims to improve regional air connectivity and make air travel more affordable. The helicopter services will operate twice daily. The first flight departs from Pithoragarh at 10:00 AM, followed by a return flight from Almora at 10:20 AM. The second flight departs at 1:40 PM from Pithoragarh, with the return flight from Almora at 2:05 PM. These flights are operated using seven-seater helicopters.
One of the highlights of this service is its reasonable pricing. A one-way ticket on this route costs INR 2,500 per passenger, making it an affordable option for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Uttarakhand.
