The Indian Railways has inaugurated the Vistadome Coach, an all-weather glass-ceiling AC train in the valley that will provide passengers with a unique opportunity to view Kashmir's magnificent scenery via its glass-panelled carriages.

The Vistadome coach was officially inaugurated by J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who elaborated on its cutting-edge features, such as entertainment amenities and sophisticated seating features. Farooq Abdullah, former Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir and Member of Parliament, was among the first to travel to the Vistadome from Srinagar.
