Hilton is expanding its presence in India with a series of new hotel openings scheduled for 2026, making the country one of its biggest growth markets in the Asia Pacific region. The company has announced several new properties across Bengaluru, Goa, and Lucknow, alongside the regional launch of its premium economy brand, Spark by Hilton. The announcement is part of Hilton's wider third-quarter 2026 expansion plans, which also include new hotels across Asia Pacific, Europe, North America, and Latin America.

Spark By Hilton Makes Its Asia Pacific Debut

One of the biggest highlights of Hilton's India plans is the launch of Spark by Hilton in Asia Pacific. The brand will make its regional debut with two hotels, Spark by Hilton Goa Calangute and Spark by Hilton Bengaluru Marathahalli Outer Ring Road.

The expansion follows Hilton's strategic partnership with Olive Hospitality, signed in 2024, to develop 150 Spark by Hilton hotels across India.

Located less than two kilometres from Calangute Beach, the Goa property is designed for both leisure travellers and small events. It will feature an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, complimentary breakfast, an all-day dining restaurant and dual-level event spaces.

Meanwhile, Spark by Hilton Bengaluru Marathahalli Outer Ring Road will cater largely to business travellers. Positioned in Bengaluru's technology corridor, the hotel is close to major business parks including Embassy Tech Village, EcoWorld and Helios Tech Park, making it a convenient option for corporate and MICE guests.

Bengaluru will see the largest share of Hilton's India expansion, with four new hotels opening across different brands.

In July 2026, Hilton Garden Inn Bengaluru Embassy Tech Village will open on the city's Outer Ring Road. Developed in partnership with Embassy Group, the 211-room hotel is aimed at both business and leisure travellers. Facilities will include flexible meeting spaces, a 24-hour fitness centre, a temperature-controlled outdoor pool and two restaurants, Merigo, serving all-day dining, and Desi Quotient, which will focus on regional Indian cuisine.

The same month will also see the opening of Slohh by Roach Bengaluru, Curio Collection by Hilton. The property will be Hilton's first lifestyle hotel in India and is inspired by the atmosphere of a Malnad coffee estate, blending contemporary design with a more relaxed hospitality experience.

In August, Hilton will further strengthen its luxury portfolio with the opening of The Den Bengaluru, LXR Hotels & Resorts in Whitefield. Located near major technology hubs such as International Tech Park Bangalore (ITPB), Brigade Tech Park and Prestige Shantiniketan Business District, the hotel is expected to attract luxury travellers, business guests and those visiting the city for conferences and extended stays.

Lucknow Joins Hilton's Expansion

Outside Bengaluru, Hilton Lucknow Gomti Nagar is expected to open in September 2026.

The 140-key hotel is located close to government offices and commercial districts, making it well suited for both business travel and events. It will offer more than 17,000 sq ft of meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, meeting rooms and a banquet terrace garden. Guests will also have access to three dining venues.

India is only one part of Hilton's larger expansion strategy for the region.

In China, the company will add new Curio Collection by Hilton hotels in Wuxi and Wanqiao Town. Japan will welcome Conrad Nagoya and Hilton Takayama Resort, marking Hilton's entry into Gifu Prefecture.

Hilton said its luxury and lifestyle portfolio across Asia Pacific is expected to grow beyond 250 hotels over the next few years.

The company is also expanding into new destinations globally, including La Paz in Mexico, northern Iceland and Crete in Greece. Additional hotel openings are planned across the United States, Thailand, Türkiye, Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom during the third quarter of 2026.

Renovations And Hilton Honors Offers

Alongside new openings, Hilton is investing in upgrades to several existing properties worldwide. Renovation projects are underway at Ka La'i Waikiki Beach, LXR Hotels & Resorts in Hawai'i, Hilton Boston Back Bay in the United States and Hilton Garden Inn Davos in Switzerland.

Hilton also announced a limited-time offer for Hilton Honors members, allowing guests to earn bonus points on eligible stays through August 15, 2026.

With multiple brands entering new markets and a strong focus on India, Hilton's latest expansion reflects growing demand for business, leisure and lifestyle travel while strengthening its presence across key destinations worldwide.
