The Sufi Heritage Festival 2025, presented in association with the Aga Khan Trust for Culture, is a celebration of Sufism’s timeless traditions, set in the historic Sunder Nursery. This immersive event blends music, poetry, storytelling, art, and spirituality, honoring Delhi’s rich syncretic heritage. Featuring renowned artists like Rekha Bharadwaj, A.R. Rahman’s KM Sufi Ensemble, Laksh Maheshwari, and Kabir Café, the festival offers spellbinding performances, interactive workshops, a handcrafted bazaar, and a culinary journey through Mughal and lost Delhi recipes. Key highlights include Sama, the grand stage for Sufi music and dance; Bebaak, a space for new voices in spoken word and experimental sounds; Kargaah, a hub for craft revival; and the Bazaar, showcasing artisanal textiles, perfumes, and sustainable luxury. Embark On An Artistic Experience

The Fabulation Project, an artist talk series exploring storytelling in contemporary art, returns with visual artist Baaraan Ijlal in conversation with Neha Tickoo. Known for her multidisciplinary practice spanning acrylic, sound, video, and resin installations, Baaraan has exhibited widely, including at Birla Academy of Art and Culture and Shrine Empire. A finalist for the Arte Laguna Award 2024 and recipient of the Critical Voice of the Year Award 2022, her works are in collections like the Devi Art Foundation and Kiran Nadar Museum of Art. Neha Tickoo, an independent dance artist and Associate Curator at KNMA, will moderate. The event will conclude with light refreshments.
