Bangkok is renowned for its cutting-edge culinary scene, featuring some of the world's most acclaimed restaurants such as Le Normandie, Mezzaluna, J'aime by Jean-Michel Lorain, and many more. Recently, another culinary gem was added to the city's already impressive list of gastronomic delights which make Bangkok an epicurean gem.

Louis Vuitton is set to open its first Southeast Asian restaurant in Bangkok, in collaboration with renowned chef Gaggan Anand, bringing together the two worlds of haute cuisine and haute couture. The restaurant, named Gaggan at Louis Vuitton, will offer a mix of fine dining and high fashion.

Nestled in the bustling area of Ratchaprasong in Bangkok, at the Gaysorn Amarin shopping center, the new restaurant promises to provide an exceptional dining experience.

The restaurant will offer a menu that showcases the creative collaboration between the Maison and chef Anand. The prices for the menu are THB 4,000 (INR 9,252) for an 8-course lunch and THB 8,000 (INR 18,505) for a 17-course dinner. Wine-pairing options start from THB 3,500 (INR 8,096). The restaurant is accepting reservations from March 1 onwards.

However, before you plan your visit, be sure to familiarise yourself with some of the restaurant's rules. The restaurant caters to guests aged 12 and above, ensuring a serene and sophisticated ambiance. The dress code is equally strict, with the restaurant prohibiting slippers, beach sandals, and flip-flops. Male guests are required to wear full-sleeved attire and shoes, while shorts and sleeveless shirts are not allowed. To secure your booking, you must pay the full amount in advance. Furthermore, if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, it is essential to report them at least 72 hours before dining. The restaurant staff goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest has a delightful and memorable dining experience.

Renowned for his exceptional culinary skills, he earned the distinction of being the first Indian chef to receive two highly coveted Michelin stars. His remarkable talent and innovative approach to cooking have inspired many chefs not only in Thailand but across the globe.

With his eponymous Bangkok restaurant, Kolkata-born chef Gaggan Anand put Indian food in the fine dining spotlight. He topped the list of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants for a record four times.

Louis Vuitton In The Hospitality Industry

This will be the latest addition to Louis Vuitton's dining ventures, which includes successful initiatives like Le Cafe V and Sugalabo V in Osaka and a summer cafe in Saint Tropez. The luxury fashion giant also has the LV Hotel at 103 Champs Elysees, in the heart of Paris in its portfolio.
