The 90s were categorised by the omnipresence of popular Western shows on Indian television, especially kids&rsquo channels. However, the past decade has paved way for development and rise of content created by Indian writers. Bringing back slapstick comedy with an Indian touch, Motlu Patlu has become a crowd favourite in the past years, garnering avid and loyal viewers. Madame Tussauds Delhi celebrated the success of the children&rsquos show by revealing wax figures of the protagonists, making them the first animated characters to be displayed. The official display to the public was commemorated on June 4, 2019.

Showcased on Nickelodeon, Motu Patlu have become beloved to children in every other household. The intellectual one, Patlu is a slender man who is known as the smartest man in town but often falls into troublesome situations, thanks to the antics of his best friend and the humourous one, Motu. The silly shenanigans and hilarious dialogues have helped the show hold on their audience as they moved upwards on the ladder of success.

Internationally-acclaimed for their lifelike wax figures, Madame Tussauds will feature lifesize additions of the characters with the models of other celebrities and famous personalities at Connaught Place, Delhi.

The creators of the show, the LotPot group, had another ace up their sleeve as they released the new comic book featuring the amicable characters on the very same day. &ldquoIt is a great moment for us, as our most popular creation is being recognised in an internationally acclaimed attraction.
