Magnolia Bakery India, based out of Bengaluru, has launched its special range of goodies for Christmas, which includes cakes, loaves, pies and an assortment of desserts.
Yes, it is the Indian arm of the New York bakery that shot to fame with a cameo in the HBO drama &lsquoSex and the City&rsquo in 2000 when Carrie and Miranda were seen biting into the bakery&rsquos frosted pink cupcakes. It arrived in India, Bengaluru to be precise, in late 2019.
Some of the products on offer include the 6-inch Plum Cake, a classic Christmas delight made with a combination of dry fruit, soaked in rum, and spiced fresh fruit baked into a rich dense cake.
The loaves come in a variety of flavours such as the Plum Cake, Marble Cream Cheese and Strawberry Sour Cream.
You can also choose from a selection of pies such as the Mini Double Crust Apple Pie and the Mini Apple Lattice Pie. Or, dig into Cookie Jars, Biscotti Jars and Crinkle Jars.
You may also pick up a hamper for gifting purpose.
According to the bakery staff, just like all their desserts, the Christmas specials are fresh, hand-made daily. Therefore, you have to pre-order.
