AIR INDIA has announced non-stop flights from New Delhi to Madrid thrice a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday), starting December 1, 2016. It has also added another international flight route to its schedule, connecting Ahmedabad to Newark in New Jersey, USA via London. A Boeing 787, it operates thrice a week and takes off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International airport. See airindia.in

JET AIRWAYS and its partner airline, Gulf carrier ETIHAD AIRWAYS, have announced an expansion of their network by adding an additional 28 flights, and introducing three new destinations starting early 2017. The expansion includes doubling the flight frequency between Abu Dhabi and Ahmedabad from February 1 and also launching a fourth daily flight between Abu Dhabi and Kozhikode, starting March 26, 2017. INDIGO launches its first non-stop flight between Muscat and Chennai, starting December 16, 2016. Other new routes that will expand the airlines network its first non-stop between Bengaluru and Indore and its first daily flight between Patna and Raipur. See goindigo.in
