While most people associate the national capital region with smog and intense pollution, many green avenues are hidden in the bylanes of Delhi. For nature lovers, a walk through some of these beautiful gardens and semi-forested areas can provide a much-needed respite from the city&rsquos smoke-filled air. Here is a list of some places you can add to your &lsquomust-visit&rsquo places around the city.

Sanjay Van

Many tree walks are being organised in Sanjay Van, a paradise for birdwatchers and morning walkers. On 10th December, a &lsquoforest bathing walk&rsquo is set to take place, where an expert will guide participants to use their five senses to feel and understand nature. If you are lucky you might even spot some of the stray spirits that are supposed to be haunting the garden.
