The world&rsquos first zero-emission passenger train is all set to be introduced by Germany in December this year. The Coradia iLint, manufactured by the France-based transport company Alstom, uses fuel cells which produce electricity by using water in its traction system. The train will only emit steam and condensed water while operating at a minimum-noise level. It also boasts of an efficient energy management system, with top speeds of 140kmph. According to reports, Lower Saxony has already ordered 14 of these trains and we are likely to see more of them once the testing phase is successfully over by the end of this year. Well done Germany
